So what is the Pilates 100’s exercise? Renowned worldwide as one of Joseph Pilates’ most beneficial and demanding abdominal exercises, and is often used as a warm-up exercise for your Pilates class.
Lie on your mat (or towel), with your back flat against the ground. Do not move your lower back off the ground during this exercise.
Bend your knees and place feet flat on the ground and place your arms at your side
Draw your navel in towards your spine
Breathe out, elevate your head and arms off the ground, and raise your feet off the ground into a table top position (or straighten your legs and point your toes straight into the air if you are more advanced)
Your abs should be taught and your lower back still pressed firmly into the ground. Pump your arms 5 times as you inhale and 5 times as you exhale.
Inhale 1,2,3,4,5 exhale 6,7,8,9,10
Repeat 10 times
